This 3-day First Aid at Work course is for anyone aged 16+ who may need to respond to accidents or medical emergencies in the workplace.
It’s ideal for larger or higher-risk environments and meets the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
On completion, you’ll receive a certificate valid for 3 years. This course is popular in construction but suitable for all industries.

This First Aid at Work course goes beyond the 1-day Emergency First Aid training, covering a wider range of injuries and medical emergencies.
You’ll learn how to assist with:
Unresponsiveness, bleeding, shock, choking, fainting
Burns, hypothermia, heat exhaustion, poisoning
Head, bone, or muscle injuries
Seizures, heart attacks, strokes, allergic reactions, asthma, and diabetic emergencies
The course also covers:
Casualty assessment and monitoring
Getting help in an emergency
Electrical incidents
Accident reporting and COSHH

Course Overview – First Aid at Work (3 Days)
Day 1: Foundations & Emergency Response
Introduction to first aid, legal duties, and the role of a first aider
Scene assessment and the primary survey (DRABC)
CPR for adults and the recovery position
Day 2: Injuries & Common Emergencies
Managing seizures, choking, bleeding, and shock
Treating fractures, sprains, and other injuries
Day 3: Medical Conditions & Practical Assessment
Responding to heart attacks, strokes, asthma, and diabetic episodes
Treating burns and scalds
Real-life scenario practice
Final assessment (practical & written)
Successful learners receive a certificate valid for 3 years. The course is hands-on and focused on building real confidence in emergency situations.

Our First Aid at Work course delivers an engaging, hands-on learning experience. Through interactive group activities and practical scenarios, you’ll stay involved while building essential first aid skills. It’s a course designed to be both enjoyable and highly effective.

Learners must be able to perform CPR while kneeling on the floor. Although CPR can be practised on a manikin placed on a table as a reasonable adjustment, final assessment must be carried out with the learner kneeling on the floor to meet course requirements.
